The management of the company attaches great importance to the construction of scientific research capabilities. In 2004, the company began the cooperation with 708 Research Institute and Jiangsu Ship Design and Research Institute, and reached strategic cooperation agreements with Power China Northwest Engineering Corporation Limited and CCCC Tianjin Dredging Co., Ltd. Currently, the Technical Institute has 5 senior engineers and 12 R&D personnel capable of swiftly formulate reasonable and feasible solutions based on the customer's work site and customized requirements. The newly developed sand making machinery has been applied by the national key project, Qingdao-Huangdao Cross Sea Bridge. The tin ore panning equipment has been chosen by Indonesian customers. The dredger with flow capacity of 5500m³ has been adopted by China Railway 20th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. The dredgers are applied by the second airport of the Maldives to complete the reclamation project. These achievement have brought substantial economic benefits to the project owners. The newly developed large, medium and small sized dredgers have been widely adopted by many countries in the world for river dredging.
