A workman who wants to do his job well must first sharpen his tools. As the "underwater Iron man" for river dredging and waterway dredging, the daily maintenance of dredgers directly determines their performance and lifespan. Today's nanny-level maintenance manual covers daily checks, seasonal maintenance, key component care, etc., helping you easily handle the "underwater monster"!

Daily Maintenance: Details determine success or failure

Three Checks before Startup

- Check the oil levels: Are diesel, lubricating oil and hydraulic oil sufficient? Is the oil cloudy?

- Check the screws: Are the screws in key parts such as chains, drive shafts, and reamers loose?

- Check the environment: Are there any rust spots on the deck and the hull? Does the accumulation of silt affect operation?

Three Precautions During Operation

- Listen for abnormal noises: If the bearings or gearboxes make abnormal noises, stop the machine immediately for inspection!

- Check the instruments: Are the oil pressure, water temperature and rotational speed normal? Reduce the load in time when overloaded.

- Anti-jamming: When encountering large rocks or landslides, immediately lift the excavator arm to avoid them!

Seasonal Special Maintenance: Anti-freezing in winter + anti-rust in the rainy season

Key points for winter maintenance

- Anti-freezing and cracking: Drain the residual liquid in the water pipes and oil lines, and add antifreeze.

- Metal protection: Anti-rust paint is sprayed on exposed parts such as the hull and the cutter, and insulation cotton is covered at night.

- Slow start: Preheat the diesel engine for 10 minutes before starting to avoid cold start damage to the cylinder.
